Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Happy fall! This is one of our favorite go-to smoothies this time of year. It uses ingredients you likely already have on hand!

We tend to hoard canned pumpkin so we have it year-round. But, you can also use mashed sweet potato if you’re in a pinch. This smoothie is filling and the flavor and texture are totally and utterly satisfying.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients except ice to the blender in the order listed.

  2. Blend on high speed until smooth, about 1 minute.

  3. Add ice and blend on high for an additional minute.

  4. Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy!
  5. Note: Use 1/4 cup almond butter and 12 ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk to make a vegan version with about the same protein as one with cow's milk.
