Willow Jarosh is a registered dietitian (RD), speaker, coach, consultant, and writer. She holds a bachelor of science degree in Human Nutrition from the University of New Mexico, a masters degree in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University, and is a nutrition expert for SELF Magazine, Bumble Bee Foods, and Bob Greene’s Best Life program.
Willow believes that health and happiness are within everyone’s reach, but the path to getting there is like a fingerprint -- individualized. Willow’s goal is to give people the tools they need to reach their health and happiness goals in the ways that are most effective for them. Through her work with C&J Nutrition, Willow engages and entertains audiences, from large corporations and universities to elementary school parent groups, while sharing practical nutrition and health advice. Her hands-on approach finds her dishing out samples in corporate cafes and college cafeterias as well as advocating more healthful options with food service management. As a personal nutritionist, Willow steps out of the office to head to the grocery store with clients and even cooks with them in their own kitchens. Willow treats her nutrition consulting work with the same dedication and passion and helps a range of companies, from food manufacturers to book packagers/publishers and fitness clubs, relay healthy messages in fun, understandable, and practical ways.
Willow’s position as a contributing editor and nutrition expert for SELF Magazine allows her to share her practical and enjoyable approach to health with thousands of readers each month, as do her weekly guest posts on fashion designer and reality star Whitney Port’s blog. The non-profit organization Healthy Kids Concepts, whose mission is to bring food and nutrition education to elementary school classrooms, also benefits from Willow’s health communication skills, as she not only sits on the board but also designs lesson plans for the group. Willow and her business partner can be found on Twitter.com (@CJNutrition) tweeting everything they eat -- providing followers with meal and snack ideas -- as well as Facebook (C&J Nutrition), where they post daily healthy eating tips.
Willow divides her time between New York City and Los Angeles -- a schedule that makes her quite the expert on staying healthy while traveling. She loves to cook and explore by foot no matter where she is.

More about Willow
Willow grew up exploring the mountains of southwestern New Mexico and played competitive soccer and tennis since age 8.
Soon after moving to the East coast, Willow developed an affinity for tea – something she indulges in often (and writes about, too) since moving to NYC.
You can often find Willow enjoying the great outdoors, listening to live music, catching an art or photography exhibit, or playing a friendly (most of the time!) game of tennis with friends.
