Golden Turmeric Milk
This is a perfect drink any time of day. Since it’s caffeine-free, it’s also great to sip at night after dinner. Feel free to make the recipe as simple or complex as you want re: the spices you use. You can just do turmeric and black pepper, if that’s all you have on hand!

  1. In a sauce pan, over low heat, heat 1 cup water with all spices.
  2. Once mixture is steaming hot, cover and let sit for 5 minutes or longer (even overnight, if you want a very potent flavor).
  3. After the mixture sits, whisk in milk, vanilla, honey, and coconut oil and heat to steaming hot again.
  4. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!
